You look like you're a winning player though. Even if you polish your game and always play well, you won't win by much. There's no money in poker, there are no rich Arabs throwing $5k stacks at you with junk. this will mean you will move up 4 years, if you're as good as him. So you'll end up winning a quarter of what he did, IF you're as good as him. And it's 2018 right now! And no rake back! Even if you are the exact copy of him you win half of what he did only due to rake. Look at LLinusLLove, in 2014 he had miserable win rates at NL100 and NL200. Having played for a long long time, poker is real tough these days. literally none, and I was winning like crazy over a large sample. two hundred thousand.įour years ago, at NL2 I had no idea what I was doing. I've had break even streak that lasted for 200,000 hands. And I play higher, NL10 and NL25, half a million hands at those levels (winning there of course). I play NL2 zoom to get bonuses and promotions. I feel like poker is a natural talent that some people are born with or something. Please be honest but do you think I have a chance to be able to play at a 50 - 100NL level still? Like if it's taking me this long to beat 2NL I am ways off 50 - 100NL. Is table selection that important at 2NL? How long did it take for you to climb outta 2nl/5nl/10nl respectively? Hand wise. So basically any advice and feedback would be greatly appreciated. I watch a bunch of poker vlogs on YouTube and am currently reading a Dan Harringston poker book. My online BR is at $85 so it's still too small for 5NL again. I'm pretty frustrated at the fact I'm struggling so much with micros and idk what to do if I want to win. Like if they donk flop, I usually float it. Usually it's post flop when I don't connect but have like 2 overs or a draw or something. I used to have a massive tilt problem but after reading the mental game of poker book it's helped a ton and I find tilt is not the main problem. My graph has been moving side ways for the past like 20k hands. Not including them, I'm at 60 thousand games played at 2NL yet I can't manage to beat it to move up. Like, I'm not trying to go pro or anything but I'd like to be able to comptentantly play at a 50NL - 100NL level.Īll I read only is people like 'Limitless' or 'Isildur' or 'LLinusLove' who literally climb from Micros to 500NL within a year. This is what I played when I moved up and got shit on. I had a good run which had got me enough BI's for 5NL but I lost too much and droped back down. However I just can't seem to win at the micros. My goal was to hopefully progress to 25NL within a year of playing using good BR management (25 BI's for the next stake before moving up) I've played poker for a couple years now, but online only for the past 6 months.
